Hi! My name is Meghan and I am 25 year old mother to Alexander Joseph. I met Mike, Alex's father, 7 years ago while we were both working for my dad. It wasn't until 3 years later that we started seeing each other, and we have been together now for 4 years. This September 29th, Mike and I had an amazing wedding and we anticipate a great life to come :)
Mike and I still work together, both managing my dad's restaurant and bar. It's a great job, but at times very stressful. I am looking forward to returning back to work, but I will certainly miss my little man while I am gone. Fortunately I am blessed with an amazingly supportive and loving family. I get along great with my parents, as well as Mike's parents. On nights when Mike and I need childcare, we are so lucky to have my mom and dad to watch after Alex.
Alex is the most amazing thing to happen to my life. I have seen the way he has changed Mike, and I have felt my heart grow tremendously. Being a mother is more rewarding than I thought it ever could be. Each day Alex and I learn new things together. I enjoy napping with him, playing peek-a-boo, watching him learn new things everyday, making him smile, listening to him babble and shriek, breastfeeding him, watching him sleep and listening to his laugh.
Mike and I practice attachment style parenting. If this is not something you agree with, you probably shouldn't add me as I friend. I talk a lot about breastfeeding and cosleeping. Feel free to add me, but please make sure you comment so I notice :)
